Brynx is a Dad

Break out the cigars, Brynx is a first time dad.  My friend Wendy's beautiful German Shepard dog, Brynx, is just over 1 year old now and has fathered his first litter of pups.  The mother is a Huskey with some wolf in her.  She's from the Balto line of dogs.  I haven't seen the pups yet, but Wendy said they're really cute and that Brynx seems to know they are his.  I would like to see these.  I am not really big on German Shepards, but some are nice.  Brynx is called a 'flat back' as he's not got the low rump of the AKC Shepard.  I like these much better and feel that the AKC has ruined the breed by going with such a low back end on them. 

Last night when I went to a BBQ party I knew there would be a dog there, so I took a bunch of dog cookies that Reba left behind.  I gave lots of them to Daisy.  Hey, we were all eating, she should be too, and not people food.

It took Mom a real long time to post my W cuz she was "preforming". Yup, she was acting and singing in a special event at the Preforming Arts Centre in our city. So she was busy woof rehearsals then preforming. Soooo to make it up to me fur taking so long to do my work fur me, she gave me a special treat tonight. Yup, she gave me an

eXtra cookie!!!

I had lots a good ideas fur "V", but Mom didn't have piktures of my of 'em. She had lots of views, but I didn't want to just post views so I mixed things up a lil bit.

This is a view... of ME wading in BX Creek. I don't like to swim but I do love to wade. This was taken June 23, 2007... guess where. Yup, at my favorite dog park. It sure doesn't look like this now, cuz the creek is real high and dirty woof the 'run off' right now.

I guess this is a view too... it's of our vehicle and his name is Vaquero (means Cowboy). That's our friend Dan petting me, and his vehicle is that little car.

Mom took this in Chilliwack on the way to my Uncle Terry's wedding to Alana. Its colors are also very vivid.

Whoof!! I could'a put piktures of ME cuz my name starts woof "R", but I thought maybe you'd like something different fur awhile. So, I'm gonna show you some of Mom's piktures of reflections.

October 1, 2006 Mom and Nan went fur a trip to the Kootenays in Nan's car, so Mom had to go woofout me (whine). Anyway, this first pikture is of a reflection on Bear Lake, between Nelson and Kaslo.

Just down the road a bit from Bear Lake is Fish Lake and another reflection.

These next two R at Galena Bay when they was waiting fur the ferry.

I think this pile of money is very niiiiccceee. Can you imagine how many steaks it would buy me? Mom was woof a friend of hers when he was makin' a payment on something, and took some piktures befur it went away. Yup, nice new money.

Here is a robbin's bird nest. This one had 2 eggs in woof her and she made them into little birdies. Too bad Mom wasn't able to get good piktures of the babies.

See how there's a kangaroo woof the letter K at the top of this post. All I could think of fur awhile fur K was kangaroo, or koala, but I don't got piktures that me or my Mom took of them critters. I was gonna use piktures of the kitchen, but Mom said "no way!" Maybe I can slip it in under M (messy) or T (tornado disaster). Anyway, I decided on KIDS!

This is a kid from down the road, and a lamb. This was 2 years ago Mom took this pikture.

Here's some piktures of 'moms woof their kids'. Oh, now don't get me wrong here, I know these are lambs, but hey, they're their mothers kids. Arf, arf, arf.

Mom cropped this pikture so you couldn't see the kids' face cuz she had permission from his parents to take the piktures, but not to put 'em on the internet. Anyway, this kid is holding onto a kid... a baby goat is called a kid... get it?! Bark!

Storyteller - do you and yur Molly live in a city? Is she too small to ride in the back of a truck? Mom won't let me ride back there woofout protection like the camper or the rack. We have 2 kinds of deer around here that this dog knows about... the Mule Deer like you see in these piktures, and White Tail Deer what have bigger tails and smaller ears.

Lilli & Nevada - Yip, I had a woofenderful time!! I look forward to being able to go again, and hoping it will be soon.

Misty Dawn - Whoof!! Ya, Mom takes good care 'o me... and she won't let me ride in the truck woofout protection. In winter it's a canopy. Last summer was the first year she put a rack on the truck and it was woofenderful!! We both liked it. In the fall we took it off and put the canopy back on again.

Jenny 865-53oh9 - that's a big name, whew! Yes, it was a woofenderful vacation woof my Mom. Thanks fur the visit.

Vader's Mom - Thanks fur coming over. I'm pretty much always happy so long as I'm close to my Mom. When she's not here, I don't even want to eat much.

Ashrunner - my Mom 'Bean says the deer was licking salt off the pavement. See, they (hoomans) put salt on the road in winter to melt ice and make the highway safer to drive on. The deer like to eat the salt.

gewinnspiel - Thank you. Yes, it was a woofenderful trip. I met Mom's long time friend Cam and he let me stay in his house woof my Mom. Mom thought I'd sleep in the truck but Cam said no... he said it was okay to bring me inside. I just had to behave myself when near Cam cuz he walks on 2 canes and Mom was scared he'd fall down if I bumped into him. He's pretty tuff tho and I tried to stay calm when near him.

Hi. Welcome to my dog blog fur another Dogic... errr... Manic Monday. I hope you enjoy it. Today, Morgen (a.k.a. Mo) at It's A Blog Eat Blog World, has given us the word bud to post about and have some fun with for his Manic Monday Meme (or Challenge, if you prefer).

Mom and I decided that most peoples would be posting about earth quakes and quaking in their shoes and stuff like that, so we went to YouTube fur a look around. I hope you like the one I chose. It's a commercial fur a yummy sounding cereal that is no longer in production, so we can't buy it. Darn. I'd like to eat a bowl great big bowl of Quake right now.
