Your words brighten my day.

Today & 2 months from Today

Today I've been laying around sleeping on the living room floor all day. I don't like going outside away from Mom, so when she tries to put me out I lay on the floor and look pathetic and pitiful. If Mom doesn't force me to go out I wait as long as I can until I really really have to go potty, then I make Mom get up from the computer and run to the door to let me out, arf, arf, arf. Mom was planning to take me to the dog park today, but the time is flying by so fast and she has so much work to do here that it doesn't look good for making it to the dog park. Dang! Mom leaves tomorrow to go away fur the weekend and I don't like that, so I'm not a happy puppy over that, but I know I will survive and I know Mom will be back home as soon as she can be. She's going to visit a friend of hers and to get our truck worked on for way more bags of doggy cookies (I think she calls it money) than what it would be here, so that's a good thing. We have to maintain our truck so we can go to the dog park and the grocery stores.

December 14 is my Burfday. I'll be 9 years old. I wonder what Mom will get me fur my burfday present.

Did you know that 2 months from today is Christmas Day?? I wonder what Mom will get me fur my Christmas present. She better get shoppin'!

By The Way..... the other day I got Mom to take videos woof her camera at the dog park. The didn't turn out too good, blurry when she moved the camera, but I'll post a couple of 'em to give you an idea what it's like there.

This is me playing at the entrance to the park. I forget the name of the white dog I'm playin' woof. We don't go so much by names all the time, we sniff buts, not shake hands, arf, arf, arf.

These take a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllly long time to load here, so Mom thinks she needs to reboot this 'puter and to not have so much open at one time when workin' woof videos. Sooooo I'm putin' this up fur you fur now and will put more up later. Whoof!

Storage Solutions

Earning Dog Cookies
Boy, do we ever have lots of 'stuff' around here that needs proper storage. There's my dog food, and dog cookies, then I guess my bones and toys could use a place during the day when I'm outside and not using 'em. With all the other critters in this house there's lots more too. Three budgie birds have food, gravel and miscellaneous other things for their cages. Five chinchillas & a rabbit: food, alfalfa cubes, shavings for their houses, and various treats. The cat has his food in a big tin can, so that's covered, but could use something nicer to keep his litter in. All this 'stuff' and we haven't even talked about all that our hooman 'Mom' has that needs to be put away better.

Yup, we need storage solutions. CarGuyGarage has more than 1,000 products to make the garage another room in your house. I wonder if they have some of those tip out bins like some hoomans keep flour in. We could use a bunch of them in our house, and some people could keep cat litter in them in the garage for oil spill cleanups. Now there's a great idea!

Helping to Feed Critters, one click at a time.

With each Set of Save a Stray Cat Mugs purchased, The Animal Rescue Site will fund 14.0 bowls of food for animals living in sanctuaries and shelters.

If you like to look out the window and watch the world go by, then you'll love our creamy white Save a Stray Cat Mugs, perfect for a contemplative cup with company! Flowers and felines are framed above this window-gazing kitten's head. The back of the mug shows the back of the same window-gazing kitty, looking out into a cloud-studded sky.

Our signature phrase, "Save a Stray. Click Every Day", together with a purple paw print and our web address, appears in between. A simple reminder that a few seconds a day can help cats not fortunate enough to have homes of their own yet.

Available in Set of 2 for you and a cat loving friend, or as a Set of 4, for a full family of feline fanciers. Both come in your choice of standard 11 oz. mugs (2 for $14.95, 4 for $24.95), measuring 3.75" T x 3.25" W (9.5 cm x 8.2 cm), or tall 16 oz. "latte" mugs (2 for $15.95, or 4 for $25.95), measuring 6" T x 3.25" dia. (17.8 cm x 8.3 cm).

Note: this is not a paid post. It is a good deed for the day to help animals less fortunate than I am.

Manic Monday - Frost

Welcome to my version of
Manic Monday

The word my man-ic friend Mr. Mo (a.k.a. Not The Mama) at It's A Blog Eat Blog World chose for us to blog about this week is:

Glitter Text custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more - ImageChef.com

At Alta Vista Images I found:

Hoar Frost

Frost parked on a no parking sign

a 'frosty' horse

I think this is hoar frost too, all over the bridge and the trees. I love this pikture!

Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 – January 29, 1963) was an American poet. His work frequently used themes from rural life in New England, using the setting to examine complex social and philosophical themes. A popular and often-quoted poet, Frost was honored frequently during his lifetime, receiving four Pulitzer Prizes.
From Wikipedia

October

O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
one from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!
For the grapes' sake, if the were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost--
For the grapes' sake along the all.

~ by Robert Frost
