I Follow!

My Mom played inside my thingy (HTML) and removed some kinda fence (NoFollow), so now I can follow everyone home... or at least the Google Spiders can follow everyone home, cuz this bloggy is now an "I Follow" blog.

WARNING: I don't like people saying bad stuff here, or leaving advertisements and such behind when they visit. That's called SPAM and I don't like spam. I also chase the people that leave it behind and now I can follow them home. I can also sick the spiders on them.

Thank you:
BettaBloggers 4 Dummies gave good instructions on making your blog an "I Follow". They have lots of good info for bloggers.
On BettaBloggers 4 Dummies there's a link to Randa Clay Designs where you can get a free "I Follow" widget for your sidebar. See mine. They come in lots of different colors.

This is one of the piktures Mom took of me when we was on our hollerdays to the KootKnees, or somethin like that. We stayed at Cam's place. I had a great time. If you look close at this pikture you'll see me. I was sniffin' at somethin on the grownd. Don't remember now what it was, but it sure was important then. We was out fur a walk along the river trail.

Manic Monday - Grace

Wow, it's already another
Dogic Monday
(Manic Monday to hoomans)

Woof! Whoof! Arfff!

Mr. Mo over at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. is responsible for this meme thing, he's the creator of it. You'll find lots of links to other MM Bloggers hooman and other critters too.

The theme word that Mr. Mo picked for today is GRACE.

I know I am a very pretty girl, and that I am very graceful, even though hoomans say when I run that I thunder along like a horse. Some laugh when they say it too. Grrrrr... What do hoomans know anyway!

I say grace before I eat my dinner, cookies and other treats...

Good steak, good treats
Good God
Lets's eats!

Speakin' of treats, I think that's a better word than grace. I'll bet all you other doggies out there agree with me, and the kitties too.

Time for you to have the grace to leave me a treat... your special words, whoofs, meows. If you also have a Manic or Dogic, or even Catic Monday post, please leave a link in Mr. Linky to make the trail back to your blog easier for me to follow. Don't be afraid, cuz Mr. Linky don't bite!

Wheat-free Salmon Treats a.k.a. Dog Cookies

I found this recipe on the internet. It sure looks and sounds good to me. I'm hoping Mom will see it here and decide to bake a batch or two for me. Would any dog not be delighted with homemade treats? Nope.

Wheat-free Salmon Treats

Put these ingredients into a food processor, mix VERY WELL. Pour potato flour through the opening while the motor is running. I can't tell you exactly how much, but I would guess about 2-3 cups. When the dough forms, like a pie crust, and rolls into a ball it is ready to take out.

Dump this mess onto potato floured counter or board. Knead more flour into this and when it is a rolled out cookie consistency, it is ready to roll out into about 14 inch thick (I think she means 1/4 inch, don't you?). I use a pizza cutter to roll our long strips and then cut crosswise to make small squares . If you want FANCY you may use a cookie cutter. Bake on cookie sheets, sprayed Pam or line the sheet with parchment paper. I put in as many as will fit. Usually two whole cookie sheets suffices. I bake this in a 375ยบ oven for 20 min. Turn and rotate the cookie sheets and bake about 10 more minutes. You can make them as soft or as hard as you want. From Ruthie on the B.A.R.F. list.

Manic Monday - Heat

Woof, ruffff...

Greetings hoomans and critters of all kinds,
and welcome to

Dogic Monday
(hoomans call it Manic Monday)

Mr. Mo over at It's a Blog Eat Blog World (sure beats the cannibalistic saying "dog eats dog world") started this up and he picks a word every week for peoples and critters to blog about. The word he picked this week is Heat!

Heat!
by Reba Rottenweiler

When I feel the heat
It's really neat
To go to the dog park.
For me a treat
That you can't beat
Is to go to the dog park.

Heat can't last
It goes real fast
If we go to the dog park.
From Mom I sneak
And run to the creek
When we go to the dog park.

Heat is gone in a flash
When in the water I splash
Each time we go to the dog park.
There's womens and mens
And dogs for my friends
I love to go to the dog park.

Leave me a Linky so I can sniff my way over to your bloggy and see what you put about heat!

And remember to leave me a "bark, woof, lick or other sign off love". Even a couple words would do.

Oh ya, don't forget to check out Mom's Manic Monday too!

Aren't I Pretty!!

This is me at the dog park the other day. Mom cropped it from another pikture where I was far away... that's the only way she can get a pikture of me cuz I'm camera shy, heehee. See my big smile? I smile a lot. I was in a field of very pretty Buttercup flowers.

Max's B'day

My Mom took me to the Dog Park to walk yesterday. We had a lot of fun. I love goin' to the Dog Park and wish Mom could take me there more often... like every day would be good. It's very pretty there. I get to run and play with all my friends, and make new friends too every time we go there. I don't even have to be on lead cuz all the dogs just run free. It's pretty safe there.

On Friday when we went, it was Max's 3rd B'day. I remember when her turned 2 last year. His Mom had a party for him at the Dog Park; gave doggy cookies to us dogs and frozen cream puffs to our hoomans. They seemed to really like eating those. I would like to eat them too.

This year, Max's mom had a party again. This time she had homemade dog cookies for us and they was ohhhh so goood. And for the hoomans there was hoomans cookies and beers and shooters. My Mom doesn't drink hardly at all ever, but to celebrate Max turnin' 3, she had a shooter. She liked it too, but it hurt her tummy, from what she told me. She has lots a tummy pains and stuff like that. I hope the special vet she's goin' to figures out what causes it so she can feel good again. She's more fun when she's feelin' good.

Anyway, I had Mom take lots o' piktures of my friends so I could show them to you. She usually takes pretty good piktures but we all kept movin' around a lot and real fast, so we blurred some of her piktures... but I'm usin' 'em anyway.

Max, the B'day boy! He's very handsome, but too young for me.

Doggy cookies in the bone shaped tin, hooman cookies in the other tin, and shooters premixed at the booze makers place.

Lucy with the white and Benson behind her. They both had haircuts so I almost didn't recognize 'em. They're usually real hairy, ya see.

Me gettin' a quick sniff 'o Beagle butt. That's Jake.

Here's Lucy and Amy with their mom.

The big yellow dog on the left is Frye, then Amy beside him. Can't tell for sure who is beside the people but think it might be Madison... and Max is the one on the right.

Amy must be tryin' to visit China... or diggin' for mice.

Left is Lucy, then Madison, Amy, Frye, and layin' down in front is Benson.

Max's mom drinkin' a shooter.

This is another Max... he's 1 of 4 dogs in his family.

I got lots more piktures to show you yet, but Mom says I gotta get off the 'puter now cuz she's shuttin' it down and goin' to bed. So you guys come on back soon and see the other ones I'm gonna post soon.

Happy trails to all!! Keep the peace!!

GREEN

You may notice that there is a lot of green on this blog... yup, everything seems to be green here. That fits my thoughts on life. I'm GREEN! No, no, silly... not like that. I'm black and brown, like all real Rotweilers. What I mean is I believe in the Green Movement! No, no... not that kind of movement. Those should never be green and if they are talk to your human and get them to drive you to the vet.

Okay, we'll try this again. I think everyone should use as little as possible, and that they should Re-use, Re-duce and Re-cycle everything they can. Biodegradable stuff is good, you know, it rots rite into the ground and even furtilizes the earth.

We'll talk more about this another time. See ya.

WOOF!

My Very First Post... EVER!

In your mind, move that camera down to dog-eye level...

Unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes!
