Manic Monday - Heat

Woof, ruffff...

Greetings hoomans and critters of all kinds,
and welcome to

Dogic Monday
(hoomans call it Manic Monday)

Mr. Mo over at It's a Blog Eat Blog World (sure beats the cannibalistic saying "dog eats dog world") started this up and he picks a word every week for peoples and critters to blog about. The word he picked this week is Heat!

Heat!
by Reba Rottenweiler

When I feel the heat
It's really neat
To go to the dog park.
For me a treat
That you can't beat
Is to go to the dog park.

Heat can't last
It goes real fast
If we go to the dog park.
From Mom I sneak
And run to the creek
When we go to the dog park.

Heat is gone in a flash
When in the water I splash
Each time we go to the dog park.
There's womens and mens
And dogs for my friends
I love to go to the dog park.

Leave me a Linky so I can sniff my way over to your bloggy and see what you put about heat!

And remember to leave me a "bark, woof, lick or other sign off love". Even a couple words would do.

Oh ya, don't forget to check out Mom's Manic Monday too!

Nice poem you wrote ! but didn't you meet a nice Miss Rottenweiler in the parc ?

tegdirg - Thank you, glad you liked the poem.

Gattina - I AM a nice Miss Rottenweiler... MISS REBA Rottenweiler, a very pretty girl doggy. So far I've met a few dogs that have some rott blood in them, but no other real rottweilers. I have heard that some others go there, but in over a year I haven't seen them yet. I'm glad you liked my poem... Mom helped me write it.

I had a grand-dog that was a Rott, and what a beautiful Rott she was! Her name was Brandy and we all loved her a bunch...
Stay cool, Reba!

There seems to be some great love for "the dog park!". the photo of Reba enjoying the river is great for this week's HEAT theme!

My Manic Monday: Heat post is on the serious side this week. I invite you to visit if you have time or inclination.

Happy MM! Villager

Amazing Gracie - Thanks for tellin' me 'bout Brandy. She's waitin' for you at the Rainbow Bridge... just like I'll wait for my hooman mom when I go on ahead of her.

Villager - I loves my dog park. Thanks for visitin'.

Hi Reba, How you doing today? I see you have a cute little poem, very nice. Seems there is a rash of Kitty Blogs out there. Your the only Dog Blog I have run across. I have two Schnauzers and they would love to find other dog blogs. Got any ideas? Have you found other dog blogs? Well, have a good run in the Creek. Scare the fish while your there, that's always a real laugh. until next time Reba

Hey Reba! Thanks for dropping by. I loved the poem. You have a very talented mommy. Tell her to give you a pat on the head from a crazy Mom in Arkansas. :)

How clever your poem is, Reba. You know repitition is one of the poetic devices poets use to draw in their audiences...
