Traveling Anything But Light

Have you ever heard of "traveling light"? Well, Mom's heard of it but just can't seem to manage to do it. I don't just mean when we go on a long drive Mom calls a trip or a vacation, I mean anytime. Just going into town she takes all this 'stuff' and has to carry it in bags. In the computer safe back pack she has her laptop computer and electrical cord, even when she knows she won't be able to use it while she's out. Also in there are books for the course she's taking, books for Toastmasters, books to read just cuz. There are CDs in there and pens, pencils, all sorts of other stuff she 'might need'. Then there's her purse with her wallet and camera and who knows what else. Good thing she doesn't wear make up or she'd have to carry that too. Oh ya, some days there's her music binder too so she can go to song rehearsal or sing in church. When going to church, and sometimes for her Toastmaster meetings, she has to take spare shoes cuz her boots make dirt on the floor cuz we have dirt in our yard and not pavement. I think Mom might need professional help... or a Samsonite.
